Happy Ice cream month!!

Nothing is better than ice cream in this summer. It is really a cool feeling when u are under the sun wearing your sunglasses near the beach and eating ur favorite ice cream.. what a feeling.
There are several flavors of Ice-cream as we all know, for me, my favorite flavor is Vanilla and Strawberry cheese cake, but what if I ask u to try the garlic or the salt and pepper flavor? no they are not chips! they are ice cream flavors..


Before 25 years Ronald Reagan - the 40th president of the United States- deemed July as the National Ice cream Month in 1984 and he also pointed that the third Sunday of July to be the National Ice cream Day but he didn't know that one day there will be a Brown bread ice cream or even a lobster ice cream!!

It was a trend that spread among the small shops which sell ice cream, they started to make different and weird flavors, flavors that u can't imagine, but even the national chains like Baskin Robbins started to do the same thing by inviting new ice cream flavors :) There is even a green chilli flavor in India ! can't imagine the taste....

Father's Day

Today is June,19th a day to honour fathers arround the world ! so I just wanted to share some things about this day and it's origins so lets see

The Father's day holiday started the first time by Sonora Smart Dodd, She initiated the idea after listening to the mother's day sermon in 1909 then she suggested the idea of the holiday..

She did that to honour her father who was a Civil War veteran, he raised her with other 5 siblings when her mom died in childbirth. it was a tough job for a single parent to do that so she wanted to honour him with a special day..

The date of the holiday was chosen because it is here father's birthday :)
In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson and his family personally observed the day and in 1924 President Calvin Coolidge supported the idea of a national Father's Day, but it didn't become an official holiday int the states until 1966...
I really do believe that mother's day should equals father's day, they both do an equal jobs towards their kids but each one from his/hers place.. that's why we call it a family ..

So now all I want to say is Happy Father's Day to all fathers around the world and to daddy , the greatest dad ever ^.^

How a gesture can put u in jail?

As we know, there are many differences in cultures around the world, the things that are allowed to do in your country, can be prohibited in other countries and vice versa, the allowance and the prohibition may mainly depends on religious views or even historical events.

One of the most confusing topics that shows how the differences in cultures may be a problem is "Hand gestures", it is a problem to the limits that could throw u in Jail ! So let's See !!


In the states this sign means I LOVE YOU

The other sign that it is slightly similar to this is this one below If you show this sign to someone in USA, he will directly think about "Texas University" since it is the logo of the university and the Texas Longhorn football team and it represent the two horns of the bull. But can you imagine that the same sign is an insult for Mediterranean ! In 1985 five Americans were arrested in Rome because they were dancing and using this gesture, then the news later showed that Longhorn football team won in USA and those Guys were Happy

In South America it means protection against bad luck when rotated but in Malta and parts of italy it means protection against Evil Eyes when they point it.

The other interesting gesture is this one .. In Europe and North America it means OK or excellent While in Arab countries it is a threat signal.

For Mediterranean people, Russians and Brazilians it has bad meaning and considered as an insult.

In Japan this gesture means MONEY! if u r doing business in Japan and u show them this sign they will think that u asking them for a bribe

In France and Belgium it means Zero or worthless, so don't ever do this in restaurants when u go there, they may throw u out because it is really impolite to say that the food is worthless even if u mean it is Good

The most things that I hate in Kuwat streets

Hi

Today am gonna tell u about the most things that I hate while driving in Kuwait

Some times those make me Sad or even MAD
Because simply we shouldn't see these things in the 21st century

So let's start !

1- Pollution


I HATE the view of the black smoke when it goes out from a bus or an old car !! specially when there is a traffic, it is so annoying and disgusting, I am wandering why they are sad because the weather is gettin' hot year after year!!, it is from u ppl !! from what u did and do everyday to the environment, these smokes go to the sky and it affect the OZONE layer, the hole is getting wider and wider in that layer and more harmful radiations are coming from the sun causing many diseases to us like skin cancers, this layer protect us and u destroy it, u want us to dieand again u want the weather to be good huh ! "THINK ABOUT THE FUTURE "

2- Heavy vehicles and buses

Okay, I know that the street is not mine! but still it is unfair for a sport car, SUV, saloon or even a Truck to be between huge vehicles, and when ? in the traffic jams the problem is that the driver of that bus or vehicle think that he is the only one in the street!, he is the king and we have to accept that and let him do what he want, there is a specific hours when it is allowed for them to use the streets but I doubt that they stuck to the rules, what is happening is completely NOT ACCEPTED ..

3-Running time.

I hate when I am driving in the highway or a ring road and SUDDENLY !! some thing is running and crossing the street ARE U CRAZY ! if yes then u need a shrink .. no comment..

4-Traffic staring

Okay the traffic is red, we are waiting the green light to move, but why r u looking left and right and stare ppl around u ?! impolite behavior


5-Cobs

u r delivering ppl but u r killing others! they are driving too fast, and stop saddenly to hunt some passengers, What about the other cars behind u ? btw I hate the colors of the cobs too, white and creamy color, where are we !!

6- Garbage


The most thing that doesn't show any kind of civilization is throwing the garbage from the window of the car, that's include cigarette, tissues or even coke bottles PLEASE DON'T DO THAT, at least throw ur garbage inside ur car better than showing the ppl that u don't know about something called Driving Etiqette
